Although you may already know your shoe size, we recommend that you measure the length of your feet. Follow the instructions below – it takes less than a minute and all you need are two 30cm rulers – ruler (a) and ruler (b). This method of measurement has proven to be very accurate.

Do not measure your feet with socks on, as this will cause you to choose a size that is one size too big.

1. Sit on a chair and place your right foot on top of ruler (a). Use ruler (b) to press your heel against the 0mm mark.

2. Once you have placed your heel correctly, stand up, remove ruler (b) and press it against your big toe perpendicular to ruler (a). It is important to make sure that your heel does not move forward. It will help if you have somebody to make sure your heel remains on the 0mm mark.

3. Write down the measurement in millimetres and then follow the same steps to measure the length of your left foot.

4. It is normal for one foot to be slightly longer than the other. For example, if your results are: right foot (256mm) and left foot (258mm), then your appropriate size would be 41.
